This Spring we were able to collect 42 packs to pass out in Martin Place. It's still chilly out there and were given more handmade beanies by local legend Jennie; these were such a nice addition to our already-awesome gift bags!
June 2022
Our most successful program to date! This Winter we collected a huge 159 Better Bags!
79 of these were distributed in Martin Place in collaboration with Pass It On Clothing. Unfortunately, police presence in Martin Place over the past month has deterred some of the regulars from attending Martin Place on a Tuesday night, however there were still plenty of people in need of support. We met a family with children in tow, a local who hadn't had a meal in three days, an elderly gentleman trying to carry 4 bags of clothes, food and his Better Bags pack to Maroubra (yes from Martin Place), and so many more people in need. But, most were still smiling and happy to see us, and so appreciative of us (and YOU!). We told them all about our donors, who you are, where you come from, etc. We were so proud to represent our community!
30 packs were given to Pass It On Clothing to take to Parramatta for their Wednesday night outreach program, and Pass It On have confirmed with us that they have all been given directly to those on the streets.
In exciting news for us, we have formed a new partnership with the Lokahi Foundation, who provide domestic and family abuse support in the Eastern Suburbs. Our remaining 50 women packs were taken to the Lokahi office in Bondi, and these will be given directly to women who have escaped violence. A wonderful organisation and one we are proud to be able to support!
Thanks to Pass It On for having us again, to lovely local Jennie Gayleard for 30 hand-made beanies, Jack Verberne for sanitisers and students from Port Macquarie for assisting on the night.
And of course, thanks to all of our supporters and pack donors!

A great Christmas donation program, with 95 packs in total; 75 going to those living on the streets in the Sydney CBD and 20 to Parramatta.
Wrapped Christmas presents and handwritten cards were included in this months program. We saw some great presents such as reusable water bottles, sleeping bags, food, rain gear and so much more.

October 2021
Our second outreach night at Martin Place, with 109 packs to donate to the local homeless community. It was a quiet night on the streets so we got 70 delivered, and Pass It On Clothing took the additional 39 to hand out at their Parramatta outreach night the following day.
We were pleased to see some familiar faces, who were just as pleased to see that we were back!
June 2021
Our first outreach night in partnership with Pass It On Clothing! These guys run an awesome weekly program from Martin Place in Sydney, and joining them makes our distribution process much much easier, and quicker! Our plan was to setup packs on a table but we didn't make it past the curb and ended up handing 68 packs from the back of our van, and another 10 the following day.
July 2018
This was the first program we ran, with LOTS of lessons learned! There was no collaboration with another organisation, which led to us driving through the city finding people to hand packs to. Lots of fun but quite challenging! Our packs at this time were in pillow cases instead of shopping bags too. Many changes since then and a big gap until our next outreach, however we are now committed to quarterly programs.
